A 'Fairly Odd' Visit

After lunch today we came back to Year 2 to find one of our tables covered in fairy dust and a strange message asking for help! The window was open and there was a torn piece of a dress caught on the window lock. Luckily there was a message so we were able to work out what had happened...

We had been visited by Fairy Godmother, who has asked us for help looking after her friends in the enchanted woods while she is on holiday after half-term. The children have decided to stop learning about Sir Harry Burrard Neale so that we are able to help Fairy Godmother. Please see the note coming home with the children explaining some home learning that will help prepare them for our work about twisted fairy tales after the break!
