The Blast from the Past Museaum opens!

The Grand Museum opened this morning from 8:45-9:15.

A huge thank you to all of the parents/guardians for your hand work on the costumes, all of Pennington Infants thought the costumes were fantastic!

The day began with the children singing The Beatles track: "With a little help from my friends" which we have been learning all week.
Following this the children taught their parents in a master class of historical knowledge! The fun field learning fest began with the children exploring the Museaum with their adults, they explored the many historical exhibitions including: The Victorians, The Tudors, Captain Scott of the Antarctic, The Titanic, Bobby Moore, John F. Kennedy, Florence Nightingale, Lord Nelson, Pocahontas and The Queen.

I would like to reiterate how impressed we all were with the costumes! Everyone has put in a huge amount of effort! Below are some photos for you to enjoy! I highly enjoyed the humour put into some of the costumes, especially our John Jacob Astors who came complete with Funnels falling on them!

Enjoy the pictures and have a lovely half term!
