SAVE OUR SENSORY GARDEN!
The children understand that Mrs Wake is planning to demolish the Sensory Garden in order to make our car park bigger. They do NOT think this is a good idea. In fact many of the children have been using play times and lunch breaks to speak to Mrs Wake about various reasons why we need to keep the Sensory Garden.
To support the children in showing Mrs Wake the importance of the Sensory Garden we will be learning all about mini-beasts and their habitats. In science we will be investigating our grounds and then in English we will be writing a report to give to Mrs Wake to explain our findings.
If you would like to support your child with their learning during this topic it would be fantastic to take them out and about hunting for insects and creepy crawlies.
When they find things please help them to take a photo and learn about what they have found. When they have something to share with the class please send it in...
