Thanks for checking out blog number 2 from Year2.
It has been another exciting week. Last week Shrek wrote a letter asking us to design puppets for his triplets. We have designed our Red Riding Hood Puppets and this week we made them! We have learnt to sew a 'running' stitch and have made some fantastic puppets. Check out the pictures underneath.
We have started to do formal handwriting practice everyday after lunch for 25 mins. This may appear along time but it flies when your having fun! The quality of handwriting now in our year group is improving all the time. The team and I would like to say how proud we are of all the work the children are putting in. If you can encourage any form of writing at home it would only benefit your child.
The homework for this week is children in need.
- Pudsey asked all of the children if they could tell him what they did to celebrate children in need on Friday.
