Andy Goldsworthy Art

In our Art lessons we have been looking at the wonderful work done by contemporary British artist Andy Goldsworthy. We have been fascinated by the way that he can go out into a landscape and make amazing art just from the objects he finds around him. So we gave it a try. First in the classroom where we made our art from pens, pencils, scissors, plastic cups, in fact anything we could find in the room.


In our next lesson we went out into the school garden to make our art from the things we could find there. So our art was made from leaves, stones, twigs, bark, etc. We think our results are very nice and we hope you like the pictures of the work, that the children took themselves with our digital cameras.
