In Year 2 at the moment we reading The Hodgeheg by Dick King-Smith. The children are really enjoying learning about Max the hedgehog and his mission to find a way to cross the road. Unfortunately Max was hit by a bicycle and started getting in a muddle when he spoke. The children had to help him unravel his speech. "I got a head on my bump, and something bot me on the hittom, but I hound where the fumans cross the road!"
Next we are going to create Road Safety instructions to teach other hedgehogs how to cross the road.
