Art from found objects

We have spent two Art sessions making pictures from objects found around us.
Using the wonderful Andy Goldsworthy as inspiration, we spent one lesson in the classroom and one lesson outside making art from available materials. The children used berries, twigs, stones, leaves, daisies, etc to make their pictures outside in the school garden.
Here are a few examples of the work from inside our classroom. Obviously indoors our found objects were things such as plastic cups, pens and pencils, straws, elastic bands, etc.




We hope you agree that the children have made some splendid art just using the things around them.
